    Academic interests:

    Prof. Olga Shevchenko is an author of more than 100 academic publications, including academic researchers in English, Spanish and Finish.

    She defended PhD thesis titled “Peculiarities of legal regulation of the employment of athletes” in 2005.

    She defended higher doctoral thesis titled «Legal doctrine of the labour regulation in the field of professional sports and the ways of its implementation in Russia” in 2015.

    She is Editor-in-chief of the peer-reviewed international academic journal “e-Lex Sportiva Journal (L.Sp.J)” and Executive editor of the “Kutafin University Law Review” (KULawR) in English.

    Olga Shevchenko has long and wide-ranging experience of research, preparation of legal opinions, including on issues of employment, medical and sports law.

    She authored the following monographs: “International and comparative labor law in the field of professional sports ” (М.: Prospekt, 2014), Legal doctrine of the labour regulation in the field of professional sports and the ways of its implementation in Russia  (М.: Prospekt, 2015), Sports Law in Russia (M: Prospekt, 2016), Comment to the Labour Code of the Russian Federation and other textbooks: Sports Law in Russia :  textbook for Masters / Blazeev V.V., Bayramov V.     His research activities primarily focus on EU external relations law, EU environmental law and EU economic law. Specific attention is devoted to the legal aspects of the Russia–EU relations.
